My skin has become a complete mess these past few days, perhaps because of the bad weather and the changing seasons. It wasn't usually this sensitive, but I'm upset because small breakouts are popping up around my mouth and the redness has gotten worse overall. My makeup doesn't apply at all and cakes, to the point where I dread looking in the mirror every morning.
So today, as soon as I got off work, I gently washed my face with a mild, pH-balanced cleansing foam to minimize irritation. Instead of my usual highly nourishing cream, I generously applied a soothing ampoule and a light moisturizing cream. I also put on a face mask that I had chilled in the refrigerator, and it definitely feels like the heat sensation has subsided a bit. I really hope it calms down by tomorrow. How is everyone taking care of their skin during this transitional season?
