Today was a great day because my makeup went on well hehe

I tend to judge my skin condition by how well makeup applies, and today was a satisfying day for the first time in a while haha. When I applied my base this morning, it adhered exceptionally well.

Usually, my makeup tends to cake around the sides of my nose and chin, so it’s actually quite stressful when I do it. No matter how hard I work on my skincare routine, if my skin condition isn't good, it shows right away. But today, there was almost no cakeiness overall, so it made me feel good while getting ready.

In particular, I felt that my skin texture was more refined. It felt less rough to the touch, and my facial tone looked slightly more even than usual. It wasn't quite clear and glowing skin, but I was satisfied that it at least didn't look dry and dull.

I was surprised that my makeup hadn't really worn off even after looking in the mirror following lunch lol. Usually, it starts to smudge or get shiny around my nose, but today I was done with just one touch-up.

On days like this, I feel a sense of pride, wondering if my skincare routine is really working well for me. Since my skin isn't the same every day, I think I cherish the days when it feels good even more. Overall, I was quite satisfied today :)
