My personal 'gentle cleansing' record for sensitive skin on days with heavy fine dust
Perhaps because the fine dust levels were unusually high today, my face felt stinging and itchy on my way home from work. When I got home and looked in the mirror, my skin tone was redder than usual, and I noticed signs of small, pimple-like blemishes appearing, so I decided to focus all my attention on 'soothing cleansing' today. I’ve found that when you’re not feeling well, minimizing irritation right from the cleansing step is the most important thing.
Instead of my usual cleansing oil, I gently rolled a low-irritation milk-type cleanser to wipe away impurities, and lightly rinsed off any remaining residue with a mild, acidic foam cleanser. After washing my face, I didn't rub it but simply patted it dry with a towel, then immediately placed a cotton pad soaked in soothing toner on my skin. I can definitely see the itching subside significantly after washing my face with such care. I hope you all wash your faces immediately after going out on days with high levels of fine dust and give your skin ample time to rest!
