My skin actually looked better on a day I didn't expect much.
Since I stayed up late yesterday, I honestly didn't have high expectations for this morning. My skin tends to show signs of lack of sleep immediately the next day, so I just washed my face having given up on getting enough sleep.
But when I looked in the mirror, I was a bit surprised because my skin looked clearer than I expected. I've been consciously making sure to drink enough water lately, so maybe that had an effect. It was fascinating and made me feel proud to see that a small habit like this, rather than a grand change in my routine, could influence my skin condition.
I heard that keeping a record of both good and bad days helps you understand your skin patterns later, so I’ve been keeping a record like this lately. Once I started seeing what worked and which days my condition was poor, managing my skin became much easier.
