My personal skincare routine that I always make sure to do, even if it's a hassle.
I'm not really the type to be super diligent about skincare, haha. In fact, I tend to get lazy easily, so I can never stick to a complicated routine for long. That's why I focus on methods that are as simple as possible but can be followed consistently.
What I consider most important is cleansing. I don't tend to wear heavy makeup, but since I apply sunscreen almost every day, I make sure to wash my face thoroughly in the evening. However, I don't rub too hard, and I prioritize minimizing irritation as much as possible.
Also, after washing my face, I tend to moisturize immediately before my skin dries. In the past, I used to wait a while before applying moisturizer because it was a hassle, but doing so actually made my skin feel tighter. These days, I simply apply toner, serum, and cream.
Surprisingly, I think sleep has the biggest impact on my skin. I'm the type of person whose skin tone immediately becomes dull and breaks out if I stay up late or don't get enough sleep, so I try my best to go to bed early haha. Of course, I can't succeed every day...
Lastly, I make a conscious effort to drink water frequently. It might seem like a trivial thing, but I feel like it makes a subtle difference to my skin condition. I think small habits are more important than elaborate skincare routines!
