[Info Sharing] Sharing a gentle 3-step daily home care routine that even clumsy hands can follow!
Hello! I usually struggle with sensitive and unpredictable skin, but I recently settled on a daily home care routine that has been very effective, so I wanted to share it as a record.
I am experiencing firsthand that my skin texture can change simply by sticking to the basics, even without fancy gadgets or expensive cosmetics.
This is a routine I always follow, and I will explain it in three steps.
Step 1: Protect the barrier with a mildly acidic cleanser
I use a mildly acidic cleanser both in the morning and evening.
Especially in the evening, focus on creating as much lather as possible in your palms to reduce skin friction.
I found that a soft finish with a slight slipperiness, rather than a squeaky clean feeling, was much more advantageous for barrier protection.
Even when drying my face with a towel, my rule is to remove the moisture by patting it gently rather than rubbing.
Step 2: The 3-Skin Method and Moisture Layering
The key is to provide the first moisture within 3 minutes of washing your face.
I first refine my skin texture with a non-viscous wipe-off toner, then dispense toner onto my palm and apply it to my entire face, repeating this process three times.
Doing this makes me feel like moisture is densely accumulating deep within my skin.
Even when applying the ampoule, instead of applying a large amount at once, applying a very small amount in two separate applications significantly increases absorption, making it the best way to treat inner dryness.
Step 3: Formation of Moisture Barrier and Sleep Care
Finally, I apply cream to balance oil and moisture, and cupping my face with the warmth of my palms helps with absorption. Especially when I see signs of breakouts, I apply a cream containing soothing ingredients a little thicker than usual and use it like a sleeping mask.
And the most important thing is, as expected, drinking 2 liters of water and going to bed before midnight.
I painfully realized that no matter how good the cosmetics you use are, if your lifestyle habits fall apart, it is like pouring water into a bottomless pit.
I think consistency is key in skincare. If you have sensitive skin like me or frequently lose your oil-water balance, I recommend building a solid foundation like this rather than applying too many products.
