Now that summer is here, my concerns about sebum control have grown.
Now that the weather is starting to get hot, my face gets really oily by the afternoon.
I am particularly concerned about my forehead and nose getting very shiny, so my makeup breaks down quickly.
In the past, I used to wash my face too often to control oil, but I felt like my skin actually became more sensitive.
So these days, instead of trying to eliminate oil at all costs, I am focusing on maintaining moisture balance.
I use a light moisturizer and try not to use oil blotting papers too often.
And since I've been drinking a lot of water and cutting down on spicy food, I feel like I'm getting a little better.
I realize every year that skincare methods need to change according to the season.
If anyone has tips on how to manage sebum well during the summer, please share them.
