I tweaked my routine a bit before summer comes.
As the weather has definitely gotten warmer, I can feel a difference in my skin condition. Since I was sticking to the same routine as in winter, I felt like my skin was getting oily even though it was sufficiently hydrated, so I decided to take this opportunity to adjust my routine a bit for summer.
The biggest change I made was the cream texture. I switched from the thick moisturizing cream I used in the winter to a lightweight hydrating gel type, and the heavy feeling on my skin has definitely decreased. I found that staying light without feeling like anything is building up on the skin suits summer much better.
I have actually become more mindful of sunscreen. It is the season when outdoor activities increase, and since I heard that I need to be more thorough with UV protection to maintain its effectiveness after laser treatment, I make sure to apply it meticulously and reapply it before going out.
I think keeping home care as light as possible and supplementing it with dermatological treatments continues to work well for me. I plan to review my routine one more time before summer officially starts.
