White flakes of dead skin appear every time the seasons change.
It’s so frustrating because every time the seasons change, white flakes of dead skin inevitably appear around my mouth and cheeks, causing my makeup to cake and cake whenever I apply it. Even though I apply my basic skincare routine exactly as usual, my skin feels rough and unsightly only during this time. I’m not sure if this is simply due to a lack of moisture from extreme dryness, or if it’s just dead skin cells accumulating and becoming visible because I haven't been exfoliating regularly. It’s so stifling. Thinking it might be due to dryness, I tried applying a generous amount of moisturizer, but it just sat on the surface. I’m also hesitant to use a scrub or peeling gel because I’m afraid it will irritate my sensitive skin during this transitional season and make it break out even worse.
Everyone around me has different opinions, sigh... I really want to maintain a comfortable and hydrated skin texture.
