My personal skincare routine for oily and dehydrated skin
For dehydrated oily skin, I think managing internal dryness and moisture is the most important thing.
First of all, unless it is a really hot day, it is best to wash your face lightly in the morning.
I found that using harsh facial cleansers in the morning breaks down the skin barrier and causes dryness, which leads to moisture evaporating quickly, so it isn't good.
You should minimize double cleansing and be careful not to rub too hard.
So, it is best to always use basic skincare products that focus on replenishing moisture from within.
It is good to protect the skin by forming a skin barrier and protective layer through hydration.
Since oily skin tends to accumulate dead skin cells frequently, it is important to manage it by exfoliating every week!
After exfoliating, I think it's also a good idea to soothe irritated skin with a hydrating mask.
So, I think I tend to keep a lot of moisturizing and soothing face masks on hand at home.
Also, lifestyle habits have an impact on skin care.
I also found it helpful to develop a habit of drinking water frequently to keep my skin from drying out.
I think consistently replenishing moisture is a big help in managing combination skin.
