Cost-effective daily habits to prevent horizontal neck wrinkles that make you look older
After hearing the frightening saying that the neck is a place where the signs of aging cannot be hidden, just like facial skin, I created my own special daily neck care routine.
Every morning and evening, after washing my face and doing my skincare routine, I never just throw away the toner soaked in a cotton pad; I use it frugally down to the very last drop.
Gently wipe your face once along the skin texture, then use the clean opposite side of the cotton pad to carefully sweep from below the jawline down to the entire neck.
And when applying essence or moisturizing cream to my face, I always take a slightly more generous amount than usual and spread it gently all the way down to my collarbone line.
When applying nourishing cream, I also perform a very light hand massage every day, gently stroking from below the ears toward the collarbone to promote lymphatic circulation.
The neck has far fewer sebaceous glands than the face, so it dries out quickly and wrinkles easily; therefore, I found that this process of replenishing oil and moisture is truly essential.
Also, before going out, it is one of my habits to never forget to apply sunscreen very thoroughly, even to the areas that are less likely to get sunburned, such as under my chin and the back of my neck.
As I took care of my neck every day with the same care as I do my face, the texture of my neck skin has definitely become clearer, and it seems like the horizontal wrinkles aren't getting deeper than before.
There is no need to purchase expensive dedicated neck creams separately; simply applying your daily basic skincare products generously to your neck is enough for excellent home care.
I hope you, too, will get into the habit starting tonight of not just washing off the cosmetics left on your hands after applying them to your face, but making sure to generously rub them all the way down to your neck.
