My whole face is slightly itchy, maybe because the ingredients in the new foundation I switched to don't agree with me.

I recently took the plunge and switched my base makeup products after seeing a recommended video on YouTube. I really loved them because they were moisturizing and had great adherence, but starting yesterday, whenever I cleanse at night, my cheeks and the area around my forehead get subtly red and itchy. My skin is so sensitive that I’m really upset, wondering if there is a specific ingredient that doesn't agree with me. Even though it feels like a waste, I think I’ll stop using them for the time being and go back to my usual gentle cushion foundation to focus on thorough soothing care first. Has anyone else experienced something like this after switching cosmetics?
