For those who get eyelash perms regularly, do I need to worry about wrinkles around the eyes or sagging skin?
Lately, I find it a hassle to use an eyelash curler every morning, and my eyelashes keep breaking, so I am considering getting a perm. However, looking at the procedure, the physical stimulation of the skin stretching when the tape is applied and removed around the eyes seems quite strong. Furthermore, I am hesitant to book an appointment because I am worried that the friction or dryness caused by applying and wiping off the perm solution might cause fine lines or a loss of elasticity in my sensitive eye area.
Although the procedure itself isn't supposed to cause wrinkles easily, I'm worried that getting it done consistently once a month will eventually put a strain on my skin. I'm curious if anyone who has been getting perms for a long time has actually felt that their wrinkles around their eyes have increased. If I find a place that applies eye patches or removes the tape gently during the procedure, and thoroughly moisturize with eye cream afterward, can I really get the treatment without worry? I'd love to hear your honest reviews and tips for protecting your eye area!
