Disinfecting the nose pads and the parts where the temples touch is better than you might think for preventing skin irritation.

Are there any of you who frequently wear glasses or sunglasses but strangely get recurring breakouts only on the bridge of your nose where the nose pads touch, or on the skin next to your ears where the temples rest? For a while, I also had tiny bumps only on the sides of my nose and didn't know why. I heard that sweat and makeup residue left on glasses create the perfect environment for bacteria to multiply. Since then, every evening when I wash my face, I make sure to thoroughly wipe the nose pads of my glasses with an ethanol swab or dish soap. Surprisingly, after I got into this habit, the skin troubles that used to appear on the areas where my glasses touched completely disappeared. Everyone, please check your glasses hygiene!
