I look so dull after working overtime for a few days and having trouble sleeping.
I stayed up late all week due to project deadlines, so this morning I thought I saw a zombie standing in the mirror. I’m realizing once again just how devastating sleep deprivation is for the skin. My dark circles seem to have extended down to my cheekbones, and my entire complexion has turned ashen, completely lacking any vitality. Even though I applied the light-toned foundation I usually use, my face just looks unnatural and darkened immediately. It seems that no matter how many layers of high-quality cosmetics I apply, they can never replicate the clear complexion that comes from deep within after getting enough sleep. This weekend, I’m really going to turn off my phone and just sleep for two days straight to force myself to improve my damaged skin condition.
