I think a refrigerator skin pack is the best when your face feels very hot.
I have skin prone to severe flushing, where my cheeks turn bright red as soon as the temperature rises or I am exposed to heater air. It is incredibly stressful because when my face heats up, my pores enlarge and my makeup melts away. I even bought an expensive cooling device, but I found that the most affordable and instantly effective solution is a skin pack using cotton pads. I pour a thin, soothing toner onto several layers of thin sponge pads until they are practically overflowing, place them in an airtight container, and store them in the refrigerator. Then, after work or right before applying makeup, I take them out and place them on my cheeks and forehead for about ten minutes; my facial temperature drops dramatically, just like an ice pack. You will notice that simply relieving the heat makes your base makeup last twice as long.
