Do not forcefully squeeze blackheads; gently dissolve them with cleansing oil.
When I was younger, I hated the look of the black sebum stuck in my nose, so I used to peel it off with nose strips or squeeze it hard with cotton swabs. However, the more I did that, the wider my pores became and the sebum filled up even faster. Now, I absolutely avoid physical irritation and carefully dissolve the sebum using cleansing oil two or three times a week. When my face is dry, I pump out a generous amount of oil and gently roll it around my nose for about five minutes; I can feel the sebum rolling out onto my fingertips like grains of sand. After that, I make sure to add a little water to emulsify it until it turns white, and then finish with a foam cleanser; this leaves my nose smooth without any irritation. Even if it doesn't dramatically remove the sebum right away, in the long run, there is no better method for protecting your pores.
