I'm curious about how to get skin that holds makeup well.
I'm really worried because my makeup just doesn't apply well lately. Even when I spend a lot of time applying makeup in the morning, after just a few hours, the sides of my nose and cheeks start to feel dry and cracked. I thought I was using a sufficient base, but since the results are like this, I don't know what the problem is. It's especially stressful because my makeup feels like it cakes even more on days when my skin is very dry from within.
Recently, I’ve tried simplifying my skincare routine and, conversely, focusing more meticulously on hydration, but the issue hasn't been completely resolved yet. I'm not sure exactly what the cause is—whether it's an exfoliation problem or a lack of moisture. I am only now realizing the truth of the saying that makeup applies well only when your skin is in good condition.
If anyone has a routine for helping makeup apply well, please share it! Skincare methods or product recommendations are welcome, and I'm also curious about pre-makeup care tips. I've been really worried about my skin's finish lately.
