After getting a dermatological procedure recently, I realized that aftercare is more important than the procedure itself. Since the skin is sensitive right after the treatment, I found that managing it as usual could actually cause irritation. So these days, I am using only the mildest products possible and paying much more attention to moisturizing and sun protection than usual.

I think it is especially important to manage my skin so that it doesn't dry out. If I let my guard down even a little, my face feels very tight and the redness seems to last a long time, so I am focusing on hydration. I also make sure to apply sunscreen thoroughly when I go out.

It seems that how I manage my skin at home after visiting the dermatologist has a significant impact on the results.
