I think skincare is ultimately a battle of consistency.
In the past, I used to think that expensive products or dermatological procedures were the only answer to skincare, but lately I’ve come to realize that consistency is ultimately the most important thing. No matter how good a product is, if you stop after just a few days, there isn't much change. On the other hand, if you consistently follow even a basic routine, I feel like my skin condition is gradually stabilizing.
So recently, instead of getting greedy and adding this and that, I am trying to keep my routine simple with products that suit my skin well. I think just moisturizing well, consistently using sunscreen, and giving my skin a rest when it is sensitive makes a difference. I am also trying to manage my lifestyle habits.
Of course, since skin doesn't improve immediately, there are many times when you get impatient along the way, but ultimately, it seems that those who take care of their skin consistently see the best results. Is there anything you all feel is most important when it comes to skincare? It would be great to share your routines or skincare tips!
