Lowering Skin Temperature in Summer to Prevent Aging
As the weather gets warmer, skin temperature rises easily. Did you know that if your skin temperature consistently stays above 37°C, collagen is destroyed, leading to a loss of elasticity and enlarged pores? I would like to introduce the essential skin cooling routine I follow every summer.
'Ice Roller' Instead of a Cosmetic Refrigerator: Storing cosmetics at excessively cold temperatures can cause their ingredients to deteriorate. Instead, place a commercially available face cooler (ice roller) in the freezer and gently rub it over the mask pack; the heat sensation will dissipate at the speed of light.
Proper Use of Soothing Gel: Aloe soothing gel is good for calming heat sensations, but if you stop there after applying it, the moisture evaporates and your skin becomes even drier. You should apply a thick layer of soothing gel and wash it off like a mask, or lightly apply a light lotion afterward to lock in moisture.
Please remember that the key to summer anti-aging is 'UV protection' and 'cooling'!
