I shaved my underarms in preparation for summer.
As the weather gets warmer and I find myself wearing short-sleeved clothes more often, I suddenly started to feel self-conscious about my underarms showing. I was particularly worried about feeling embarrassed when lifting or moving my arms. So, I decided to take this opportunity to get laser hair removal treatment.
I was a little nervous since it was my first time, but I followed the instructions given before the procedure and let my hair grow out a bit instead of shaving it too short before visiting. Before the procedure, I applied cream to prepare and minimize skin irritation, and since the process didn't take as long as I expected, I felt less burdened. There was a slight stinging sensation, but it was bearable, and I felt that it would be fine as long as I took good care of it.
Most of all, I have high expectations that it will reduce the hassle of shaving repeatedly. During the summer, as we sweat more and expose more skin, we become more conscious of hygiene and cleanliness; I think it will be much more comfortable after hair removal. This summer, I plan to wear shorts more confidently and comfortably with neatly groomed underarms. They say that consistent treatment is needed a few more times for best results, so I'm going to make sure to take good care of them.
