My skin has been very dry and flaky lately. Is it okay to get laser treatment in this condition?
My skin condition has changed a lot more than I expected as the weather suddenly became dry.
I used to worry about oiliness in the summer, but lately, my skin feels very tight after washing it, and there have been many days when my makeup looks patchy in certain areas. I was originally thinking of starting laser treatment because of blemishes and a dull skin tone, but I was a bit worried about whether it is okay to get it done when my skin is as dry as it is now.
Just because my skin is dry doesn't mean I absolutely can't get laser treatment, but I'm worried it might feel more irritating than usual if I get it when I'm not feeling well.
In particular, since I tend to get dry skin easily when the weather gets cold, I am worried that my skin might become rougher or that my makeup won't apply for a few days after the laser treatment.
In this case, would it be better to restore my skin condition a bit with moisturizing or soothing care first, rather than starting the laser treatment immediately?
Alternatively, I would like to know if the intensity or type of treatment can be adjusted to suit my current skin condition if I mention during the consultation that my skin is dry.
For me, it is much more important not to strain my skin than to see quick results.
Since blemishes and skin tone aren't going to change overnight anyway, it's fine to take my time and get it done a few times.
I'm also wondering if it's good to apply moisturizer more often than usual after getting laser treatment.
I am currently using a few functional products, but since I am getting laser treatment when my skin is dry, I think it might actually be better to take a break from those products for a few days and simply manage it with a focus on moisturizing.
For those of you who have consistently received laser treatments during the winter or transitional seasons, was your skin reaction different compared to when you received them in the summer?
I also wonder if you have ever postponed a procedure date due to dryness.
For those of you who, like me, wanted to get laser treatments for your skin tone or blemishes but were hesitant because of your dry skin, please let me know how you actually got started haha.

If you are worried about getting treatments too frequently, ask them to set the interval based on your skin type during the consultation, and also inquire at which session you want to check your progress. They say it is really important to be meticulous about sun protection after the procedure!1080026.10.22

Since even blemishes that look similar on the surface need to be identified as specific types first, I am curious about your consultation criteria. Although I have no experience with procedures, would it be helpful to discuss my usual sun protection habits and available schedule during the consultation?420026.10.08
