I am concerned about melasma treatment.

Hello. I am posting this because I am concerned about treating melasma. In the past, I didn't have a single blemish even if I applied sunscreen haphazardly, but at some point, dark spots started appearing around my cheekbones, and now they are not even covered well with makeup. It seems like the color gets darker when I am tired or when the UV rays are strong, to the point where I hate looking in the mirror.
I searched online and saw many claims that toning lasers are effective, but I am hesitant because there are reviews mentioning side effects, such as melasma becoming darker or skin breaking out if done incorrectly. On the other hand, I don't think applying expensive whitening creams or vitamin essences will yield dramatic results, so my dilemma is only deepening.
Has anyone seen results from receiving melasma treatments, such as laser toning, at a dermatology clinic? I am curious how many sessions are needed to lighten the spots and how much the treatment cost. Alternatively, home care tips would be great, so please share any small tips you can!

기미는 레이저 치료 후에도 재발할 수 있어서 시술 횟수와 비용을 꼼꼼히 비교하고, 평소 자외선 차단도 꾸준히 신경 쓰는 게 중요하더라고요.
