For those of you who have received melasma treatment, what was the biggest advantage?
I used to only have light blemishes on my cheekbones, but lately, the pigmentation that looks like melasma seems to be spreading little by little on both cheeks, so I am looking into melasma treatment. It feels like it looks darker, especially on days when I get a lot of sunlight, and it is bothering me because it makes my overall skin tone look dull.
I have been consistently using whitening and vitamin products at home, but I haven't seen as noticeable changes as I expected, so I am considering getting treatment at a dermatology clinic. When I search online, people often mention skin tone improvement, pigmentation reduction, and the overall clearer appearance of the face as benefits of melasma treatment, but I am wondering if the results are actually very noticeable when receiving the treatment.
Rather than getting rid of my freckles completely, I would like them to become lighter than they are now and reduce the patchy look when I go barefaced. Also, if my skin looks a little more even without wearing heavy makeup, that would be a big advantage.
I am curious to know what aspects those who have consistently received melasma treatment were most satisfied with, and how their skin has changed compared to before treatment. Please also let me know what factors are most important when deciding on a treatment method at the beginning.

- 01CommentsI heard that the interval for Pico Toning is determined differently depending on your skin condition and the type of pigmentation. If you are worried about getting treatments too frequently, ask them to set the interval based on your skin type during the consultation, and also inquire at which session you want to check your progress. They say it is really important to be meticulous about sun protection after the procedure!410026.10.22

- 03CommentsI see that you are looking into my mother's skin concerns on her behalf. Since even blemishes that look similar on the surface need to be identified as specific types first, I am curious about your consultation criteria. Although I have no experience with procedures, would it be helpful to discuss my usual sun protection habits and available schedule during the consultation?410026.10.08
