How do I record sun exposure and makeup changes before a Maypure melasma consultation?

I am preparing for a laser consultation because the color of my cheekbones and upper cheeks appears to change every day. I am wondering if the Maypure consultation distinguishes between days of prolonged sun exposure and days when the skin appears darker after makeup has worn off. I would also like to know what photos and lifestyle records are helpful when there is a mix of areas resembling melasma with spots or blemishes.

Before visiting Maypure, would it be helpful to take a photo of my bare face under the same lighting and note down the duration of my outing and the number of times I reapplied sunscreen? I am also wondering if I should record changes that can affect skin tone, such as my menstrual cycle or lack of sleep.

During the consultation, I would like to know how the current color type and depth are categorized and explained, and whether it is possible to determine the treatment order by considering potential irritation and recovery time, rather than trying to remove everything at once. Since I need to wear makeup the next day for work, I would like to first check the likelihood of redness and peeling, as well as when I can apply makeup.

After the Maypure consultation, can we compare the progress based on photos and adjust the plan if any new changes occur? Please let me know if it is possible to skip the immediate process and try UV protection and moisturizing first, followed by another consultation.
