Inquiry regarding laser consultation for melasma and blemishes during the change of seasons (Pico Toning vs. Blemish Laser)
Hello! As the weather gets chilly and we transition from autumn to winter, my skin tone has become quite dull. I've been getting increasingly worried because the small freckles and blemishes on my cheeks stand out so much whenever I look in the mirror. I thought I was making sure to apply sunscreen regularly, but perhaps due to UV rays, it feels like my pigmentation is getting darker as I get older.
I am currently looking into getting laser treatments at Maypure, and I am wondering if it would be better for my skin condition to receive Pico Toning consistently for several sessions, or if it would be more effective to combine it with a blemish laser or pigment-focusing laser first.
My skin has become a bit dry and sensitive due to the changing seasons, so I am curious about how long the recovery period takes after the procedure, such as for redness or scabbing. I would also appreciate advice from the director and members on whether receiving a skin booster or soothing treatments along with the procedure would be helpful for those like me who are concerned about dry skin and blemishes. I have attached a photo, so I would be grateful if you could take a look and give me some recommendations!

- 01CommentsI heard that the interval for Pico Toning is determined differently depending on your skin condition and the type of pigmentation. If you are worried about getting treatments too frequently, ask them to set the interval based on your skin type during the consultation, and also inquire at which session you want to check your progress. They say it is really important to be meticulous about sun protection after the procedure!7050026.10.22
