Can a double chin be improved with a lifting procedure?
Hello. I am writing this post because lately I’ve been so stressed about the double chin that bulges out under my chin every time I take photos or look in the mirror.
I didn't originally gain weight very rapidly, but at some point, whenever I lowered my head even slightly, the fat under my chin would bulge and overlap, completely blurring my facial lines. Since the boundary between my jaw and neck becomes indistinct when viewed from the side, I look fat, and my expression looks unnecessarily stifled, so I am constantly worried about the angle of my head whenever I am being photographed.
I bought a lifting band and wore it every day in an attempt to somehow get rid of the fat under my chin, and I also consistently followed gua sha massages and contouring exercises. However, only the surface skin gets slightly redder, and the double chin fat or sagging skin underneath really isn't disappearing noticeably with home care.
I can't figure this out on my own, so I'm looking into dermatological procedures.
Has anyone here received double chin treatment at a dermatology clinic and seen definite results?
I am curious to know which laser or injection procedure was the most effective for reducing chin fat and refining the jawline. I would appreciate honest reviews from those with experience regarding downtime (such as bruising or swelling) and whether there were any side effects like sunken cheeks. Thank you in advance!
