Could the fact that my face returns to its original state slower than before after laughing also be a matter of elasticity?

I've been feeling something a bit strange lately. After laughing hard or talking for a long time, my face doesn't immediately return to its original state; instead, it feels like some of the skin is lingering underneath for a moment.
I'm not sure how to explain this, but I feel like my skin doesn't feel as firm immediately as it used to.
So, wondering if this might also be related to loss of elasticity, I am looking into lifting procedures.
Of course, I might be being overly sensitive, or I might be feeling it more because I'm tired today haha.
During the lifting consultation, do you also check the degree of elasticity by directly touching the skin or moving it?
I am more interested in making my skin look a little firmer than simply tightening my facial contours.
I tend to be very expressive, smiling often and talking a lot, so I am wondering if getting a lift would allow me to maintain these natural expressions while looking firmer overall.
I absolutely don't want it to feel too tight and make me look awkward or change my expression when I smile lol.
I have heard that the depth of skin penetration and the way it works differ depending on the type of lifting procedure. I am wondering if a consultation would help determine the right approach for these concerns.
Is there anyone else like me who started getting a lifting treatment because their skin felt looser than before, rather than their facial contours?
Please give me an honest review of whether there was a difference in how it felt to the touch or when making facial expressions after receiving the treatment haha.
