My nasolabial folds are getting deeper. Which lifting procedure would be better, Oligio or Shurink?
Lately, when I take photos or look in the mirror, I'm really self-conscious because the line below my face seems to have sagged compared to before.
In particular, even when I am not smiling and just standing still, the nasolabial folds extending from the sides of my nose to the corners of my mouth are noticeable, and as the skin on the lower part of my cheeks gradually sags, my whole face feels like it is sagging.
In the past, my skin used to look firm after getting enough sleep, but lately, even after getting plenty of rest, my face looks tired. I’ve tried using cosmetics that claim to be good for elasticity and even tried massages at home, but it was difficult to feel any definite changes.
So this time, I am looking into getting a lifting procedure at Maypure.
I looked up reviews and saw that many people compare Oligio and Shurink Universe, and I heard that the two procedures differ starting from the way they work on the skin.
I heard that Oligio focuses on improving skin elasticity using radio frequency, while Shrink Universe uses ultrasonic energy to lift sagging areas.
However, for someone like me with prominent nasolabial folds and the feeling that my cheeks are sagging, it is difficult to determine which procedure is more suitable.
Would the recommended procedure vary depending on whether the problem is caused by the skin itself losing elasticity, or if the nasolabial folds appearing deep due to facial fat or sagging?
Also, since I don't have very chubby cheeks, I am worried that getting a lift might actually make my cheeks look sunken or my face look even thinner.
I am also concerned about the pain. Since I don't tolerate pain very well, I am curious about the level of heat or tingling sensation during the procedure. I would like to know if the anesthetic cream alone is sufficient, and if swelling or redness will linger afterward.
I have a job, so if possible, I would like to get the procedure done on the weekend and go to work as usual on Monday.
Also, it seems there is quite a price difference for Oligio and Shurink depending on the number of shots. Is the number of shots required significantly different depending on whether the treatment covers the entire face or focuses mainly on the nasolabial folds or jawline?
Rather than receiving many shots from the start, I would like to determine the appropriate intensity and range based on the condition of my face.
I am also curious about when the effects appear. I would like to know if I feel a tightening sensation immediately after the procedure, or if elasticity improves gradually over a few weeks. I am also curious about the duration of the results and the interval for re-treatment.
Has anyone by any chance received the Oligio or Shrink Universe treatments at Maypure?
If you received treatment for nasolabial folds or sagging corners of the mouth, please share your experience regarding the areas where you felt the biggest change, the actual number of shots administered, and the cost.
If anyone has tried both procedures, please let me know the differences in pain and effectiveness! I want to naturally improve elasticity while maintaining my facial volume as much as possible, so I am trying to choose carefully.
