Is it okay to adjust the administration schedule for Maunzaro due to the burden of non-covered costs?
I was absolutely unable to manage my weight, so I was prescribed Mountar and am currently taking it. I can definitely feel a significant effect in suppressing my appetite. However, since it is a non-covered procedure, the fixed monthly cost is quite substantial, so it is a bit of a burden to take it long-term.
Although Maunzaro is originally supposed to be administered weekly, I am wondering if the effectiveness would significantly decrease if I gradually extended the dosing interval to 10 days or 2 weeks, given that my appetite is already somewhat under control. I am also worried that arbitrarily changing the schedule might cause my blood levels to drop, leading to an explosion of appetite or the interruption of my weight loss momentum.
Has anyone tried extending the dosing interval with Maunza? Was weight maintenance successful when adjusting the interval?
