I can't control my appetite. The weight loss injections will be effective, right?

My weight has spiraled out of control due to a bad habit of relieving stress through binge eating. Even when I'm not hungry at all, I constantly crave chewing on something, and it is agonizing to have my mind filled with thoughts of food. I heard that medication, such as weight-loss injections, is essential to shut off the false hunger signals sent by the brain. Does getting weight-loss injections really work to turn off the obsession with food or the "food craving switch" in my brain? I can't control it with willpower alone, so I want to pin my hopes on these injections. I'm curious about the firsthand experiences of those who have tried them to control their cravings, and I think hearing them directly here would be reassuring.
