I'm on a weight loss plateau. Will I lose weight again if I get weight loss injections?
It has been about three months since I started my diet, but I lost weight rapidly during the first month and am now in a complete plateau, so I am feeling very depressed. Even though I am maintaining a strict diet and exercise routine, the number on the scale isn't changing, so my motivation has plummeted. That is why I am seriously looking into weight loss injections, thinking I might need to turn to medical help.
I see there are various types like Saxenda, but would someone like me, who has hit a plateau, be able to resume weight loss by going to a hospital and getting a prescription for obesity injections? Also, I am curious if I have to keep getting them once I start, or if there is a specific recommended frequency or duration to continue until I reach my target weight. If anyone has successfully lost weight using obesity injections prescribed by a doctor, please give me some realistic advice on whether there is a rebound effect after stopping and whether the appetite suppression is truly effective.
