How often do you all schedule your laser hair removal? I'm curious about the difference in effectiveness.

Hello! I signed up for a laser hair removal package and am currently attending sessions because I want to keep my skin smooth.
The hospital recommended that I visit for laser hair removal treatment every 4 to 6 weeks, in accordance with the hair follicle growth cycle.
However, I have suddenly gotten very busy lately, so I slightly missed my laser hair removal appointment and it looks like I will be visiting in the 7th week, past the 6th. I was actually a bit worried that if the interval between treatments gets this long, the effects of the treatments I've received so far might wear off or my hair roots might grow thicker again.
I am wondering if laser hair removal treatments generally require attending strictly according to the scheduled schedule to ensure the hair roots are cleanly destroyed.
