Dark skin care

As I age, my skin becomes dull. Its texture becomes flaky and its color gradually turns brown. Acne also leaves behind dark pigmentation. I'd like to know how to not only treat pigmentation but also brighten my face overall. I'd also like to improve my skin texture.
