Does the redness last a long time after Vitaran?

Does the redness tend to last a long time after the procedure? Since I work, a long downtime is a bit of a burden, so I'm hesitating. I'm wondering if I can go to work on Monday if I get it done on the weekend, and I'd also like to know how long the raised bumps usually last. I'm also curious if it can be covered to some extent with makeup!
