It's floating all white and cracking.

At some point, whenever I apply base makeup, my dead skin cells become noticeable, and my skin looks patchy, floating around and cracking... No matter how much moisturizer I apply or how many face masks I try, my skin only looks shiny on the surface while still feeling dry underneath, so my makeup just won't adhere.

I feel like basic skincare has reached its limit, so I've turned my attention to cosmetic procedures. My skin is thin and sensitive, so I am a bit afraid of the side effects. An older friend recommended Vitaran to me; she said that compared to other regenerative injections, the medication is thinner and milder, so the tearing pain during injection is much less. Is that true?

Since there are products that come with the anesthetic already mixed in, I'm wondering if applying anesthetic cream beforehand would make it bearable even for someone who is a scaredy-cat. I've been putting it off because I'm terrified of the injection pain, but I get so stressed every time my makeup looks patchy that I think I really need to get it done now.
