Do I need to consider the cost of melasma skin boosters as well as maintenance?

I am writing to inquire because I am wondering if I need to factor in the cost of maintenance for the melasma skin booster.

I’ve heard a lot that melasma and blemishes can come back even after they improve. My cheekbones always look duller after summer, and perhaps because I often apply sunscreen carelessly, the pigmentation seems to be becoming more noticeable. I think getting a melasma skin booster would help improve my skin condition, but I’m wondering if it’s a treatment that ends after just a few initial sessions, or if I need to receive it periodically as a maintenance treatment.
