Is Potenza really the answer? It works, right?
I never got acne during my school days, but after becoming an adult, it started breaking out indiscriminately around my chin and cheeks, eventually leaving behind red marks and pitted scars all over my face. I’ve seen many posts saying that regenerating creams are useless and that Potenza is the perfect solution. I heard that the high-frequency energy directly burns the sebaceous glands to prevent new acne breakouts, and simultaneously treats abnormal blood vessels to lighten redness and marks.
Furthermore, I heard that if skin boosters like exosomes or the "baby injection" are administered along with it, cells regenerate starting from the dermis layer, causing the skin to plump up. My skin barrier is already compromised, so I am suddenly scared that getting the Potenza treatment, which involves micro-needling, might actually irritate it and cause my skin to break out or become more sensitive.
The cost is quite steep, and I've heard that it's still pretty painful even with anesthetic cream... Phew. If anyone has tried the Potenza procedure with similar concerns, could you please tell me how much the redness or scarring actually improved?
