When I see powder getting stuck in my pores and clumping up, I just want to wash my face.
I went to a friend's wedding today and got my picture taken right under the light. When I got home and checked the photo, I seriously almost screamed.
I wonder when my pores on my cheeks and butterfly zone started crying like this, crisscrossing horizontally and vertically... I can blame the sagging skin from loss of elasticity on age, but seeing my pores connect in lines that look like fine wrinkles is truly unbearable. Even when I go to the cosmetics store and apply the expensive foundation the clerk recommended as a perfect match, seeing the powder get stuck in my pores and clump up makes me just want to wash my face.
I have painfully realized that putting on a face mask and applying an ampoule for home care is nothing more than a way to comfort myself. I am going to break into my bank account this weekend and splurge on something, whether it's a lifting treatment or a skin booster.
