When I leave for work in the morning, I meticulously fill in my pores with the primer that's famous for minimizing pores, and then carefully pat on foundation before heading out.
But after I get to work, stare at the monitor for a bit, and have lunch, oil starts pouring out from the pores around my nose and butterfly zone, causing my makeup to clump and make a total mess. If I try to touch up by applying cushion foundation, it just sits on the surface and gets stuck in the uneven texture, leaving a white residue that makes it look messier than if I hadn't done it at all. Ugh...
My pores used to be round, but now, perhaps because I’ve lost elasticity as I've gotten older, they seem to be stretching out downwards and trying to connect with each other. Since my skin just looks messy from a distance, I feel a bit self-conscious and keep lowering my head when meeting people.
There are so many products like Potenza and Juvelook that are said to be good for shrinking pores, but I'm worried that if I get the wrong laser treatment, my skin will just become sensitive and I won't see any results.
