My skin is dry and dull and makeup doesn't apply well. Would a skin booster be okay?
Lately, I'm worried because even when I wear makeup, my skin doesn't look as smooth as it used to.
In particular, the inner part of the cheeks quickly becomes cakey when cushion is applied, and the base gets stuck in the pores next to the nose, making the skin look messier by the afternoon.
I thought dead skin cells might be the problem, so I even tried a peel, but it was only okay for about the next day, and sometimes the dryness actually got worse for a few days.
So, I’m looking into skin boosters because I’m wondering if I should manage my skin’s hydration and condition itself rather than just constantly smoothing the surface. Are skin boosters commonly used even when makeup doesn't apply well and the skin feels dry and dull like this?
I want a skincare routine that naturally refines my skin texture rather than just providing temporary hydration, so I am wondering which method would be best for me.
