How far in advance is it safest to get a skin booster for an important event?

I have an important appointment next month, so I'm thinking of doing some skincare, but I'm not sure how to schedule the date.

I do want to try a skin booster, but since it's my first time, I'm a bit scared to get it right before my appointment because I don't know how my skin will react.

I heard that it isn't a procedure where the effects appear immediately, but rather one that feels like it improves naturally over a few days, so I want to choose the right timing.

Usually, how many weeks before an important schedule would it be more reassuring to get a skin booster?

I am also wondering if a week in advance is sufficient, or if it would be better to leave at least two weeks of leeway.

I'm especially worried that things like embossing, swelling, or bruising might linger for a long time haha.

I have to meet people often, so I feel burdened if it is too obvious that I've had a procedure done.

I am also curious whether the results are most noticeable on the first day after receiving the skin booster, or if swelling can occur the next day.

And when can I start wearing makeup as usual?
