Will skin boosters be effective on enlarged facial pores?
Lately, the pores on my cheeks and the sides of my nose have been very noticeable, so I am looking into pore improvement treatments. I became curious because I heard that skin boosters can be helpful as well as lasers. Even though my skin tends to be dry, my pores stand out, and when I wear makeup, foundation gets stuck in the pores over time, making my skin texture look rougher.
I have heard that skin boosters like Rejuran or Juvelook help with skin regeneration and improving elasticity, so I am wondering if I can actually expect pores to shrink if I receive these treatments. In particular, I would like to know if the effects of skin boosters differ depending on whether the pores are enlarged due to excess sebum or sagging pores caused by loss of elasticity.
I am also curious if, given that enlarged pores are my primary concern, combining the skin booster with laser or radiofrequency treatments like Potenza or Fraxel is more effective than receiving it alone. I would also like to consult on how many sessions are typically required to notice changes in skin texture or pores, and how long the downtime—such as embossing or swelling—lasts.
