A vivid review of the LDM Waterdrop Lifting that I absolutely have to get the day before an important appointment lol
My skin is usually very dry and my makeup tends to cake, so whenever I have an important gathering or meeting someone, I make sure to stop by a dermatologist the day before to get the LDM Waterdrop Lift. Haha. At first, because of the name "lifting," I thought it was a procedure like InMode or Shurink that slims the face shape. However, after the consultation, I realized it is actually closer to a moisture regeneration treatment that uses high-density ultrasound energy to fully hydrate the dermis and strengthen the skin barrier. Since there is absolutely no pain or downtime, it is great for office workers to stop by quickly during their lunch break. Also, because you can apply makeup immediately after the procedure, I think there is really no better treatment for emergency care right before an important event. This time, I had an important meeting this weekend, so I rushed to the clinic right after work yesterday and got a generous hydration boost. Haha.
The procedure itself is truly peaceful. After thoroughly cleansing, the director generously applies a clear, cold moisturizing gel to my entire face. Then, using a round, roller-like ultrasonic device, she gently massages along the skin's texture. I can feel a pleasant warmth emanating from the machine, and it feels like my skin, which has been tense all day, is finally relaxing. Sometimes when I get other laser treatments, it hurts so much that I have to hold back my sweat and hug a stuffed animal tightly to endure it, but with LDM, it actually feels like receiving a warm aesthetic massage. I almost drifted off to sleep and started snoring without even realizing it!
The rolling process usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes, but I was very satisfied because the director paid extra attention to the butterfly zone and cheeks, where I feel particularly dry and have severe redness, and massaged them meticulously. Since there is absolutely no irritation, even those with sensitive combination skin or skin prone to light redness can receive the treatment very comfortably without worrying about side effects.
After the procedure was finished and I applied the soothing mask, I looked in the mirror and saw a subtle, dewy glow literally flowing down my face. Perhaps because the moisture was fully replenished deep within my skin, my complexion looked noticeably clearer, and I could immediately feel how firm and supple it had become just by touching it with my fingertips. The absolute best part was applying makeup the next morning. Usually, my foundation would settle into the dry skin around my nose and cake, forcing me to constantly spray mist, but the day after the LDM treatment, my base makeup adhered to my skin like a magnet, maintaining a beautiful glow without smudging until late in the evening. The fact that there were absolutely no traces of the procedure, such as unevenness or red bruising, allowing me to return to my daily life immediately, is the biggest advantage for a working professional. If you suffer from severe internal dryness, are worried about rough skin texture, or have an important day coming up, I highly recommend LDM!
