Lately, the pores on my cheeks and the sides of my nose have looked more prominent than before, and my skin texture feels rougher, so I decided to get a PicoFraxel treatment at a dermatology clinic. Usually, makeup would cover them up to some extent, but lately, I've been bothered by foundation settling into my pores and making my skin look bumpy.

During the consultation, I mentioned that I wanted to improve both my pores and skin texture, so we proceeded with PicoFraxel accordingly. I felt a stinging sensation all over my face during the procedure, and it felt a bit more irritating, especially around the sides of my nose and the center of my cheeks. However, since the treatment didn't take very long, it was quite bearable.

Immediately after finishing, my face turned red and felt slightly hot, so when I got home, I used plenty of soothing masks and moisturizers. For a few days, I also felt a slight peeling of dead skin cells, so I tried not to rub my face as much as possible when washing it and paid extra attention to sun protection.

After about a week, my skin calmed down again, and I felt the texture on my cheeks was a little smoother than before. It wasn't enough to say my pores completely disappeared, but I was satisfied that they looked less noticeable when I wore makeup and my skin finish seemed a bit cleaner.

Rather than expecting big changes after just one session, I think I need to receive treatments consistently for a few sessions, so I am considering getting additional procedures while monitoring my skin condition.
