This is a review of my first-ever Aqua Peel session at a dermatology clinic.
I’ve always been self-conscious about the blackheads on my nose and the bumpy whiteheads under my chin, so I used to apply thick layers of makeup just to cover those areas. Feeling that home care alone had its limits, I made an appointment at a clinic near my office during my lunch break and tried a pore cleansing treatment called Aqua Peel for the first time. As a cold liquid came out, a machine resembling a small vacuum cleaner sucked up the surface of my skin; it wasn't painful, but rather felt strangely refreshing and gratifying. The process involved three steps to dissolve and extract sebum while replenishing moisture. When I looked in the mirror after it was all over, the bridge of my nose was sparkling like a peeled egg, which was fascinating. The smoothness was definitely on a whole different level compared to scrubbing at home, so I resolved to go get this treatment often before important appointments in the future.
