I'm wondering if the small bumps I can feel on my cheek are milia.
I sometimes feel very small granules when I touch the skin around my cheeks, and I am wondering if this condition is definitely milia. It is not noticeably red or painful, but it bothers me because the skin surface is not smooth, and the fine bumps seem to stand out even more under bright lighting. Since there is no visible white pus like with typical acne, it is difficult to choose a management method.
I’ve heard that dead skin cell buildup or lack of moisture can look similar, but how can I distinguish between actual comedones and simple skin texture issues? I would prefer to avoid checking by touching or squeezing my skin, as it seems like it might be irritating.
I am wondering if it is appropriate to post this on the acne skincare forum, and if it is possible to determine first through a consultation whether extraction is necessary. Depending on my skin condition, could other treatments be more suitable than extraction? Rather than starting a harsh procedure just because of minor bumps, I would like to know the exact cause and manage the condition accordingly.

- 01CommentsIt seems we're similar in that you're thinking of visiting after work. I'm curious about this too, as it looks like it will take quite a while if I have to do the extraction and soothing. I also need to break the habit of touching it with my hands, but it's not easy.150026.10.23
- 02CommentsI can relate because the bumps on my chin pop back up just as they go in. Since you are going after work, I am also curious about the procedure time and the level of redness on the day of the treatment. I will refer to your reply once it is posted.160026.10.23
- 03CommentsI heard that the management approach for new breakouts and existing blemishes may differ. During the consultation, it would be helpful to ask which areas of your skin should be addressed first and how many sessions are required to monitor progress, as this will aid in creating a treatment plan.210026.10.23
