Would it be effective for recurring breakouts on the cheeks, like acne treatment?

I don't tend to get a lot of acne all over my face, but I am concerned about small blemishes that repeatedly appear in similar locations on the inside of my cheeks, so I am looking into acne treatments.

It seems like as soon as one goes down, another one pops up nearby a few days later, so it takes a short time for my skin to clear up completely. It isn't severely red or painful, but since it keeps happening, I'm worried that it might leave marks later.

Is acne treatment effective even if it keeps appearing in a specific area like this?

I am curious whether acne treatment only manages the current breakouts or if it also includes care to reduce the frequency of recurrence in similar locations. I would like to know if it is caused by sebum constantly accumulating inside the pores, or if the cosmetics I use or my lifestyle habits also have an impact.

When receiving an acne treatment consultation, would describing the recurring locations or breakout cycles help identify the cause? I am also wondering if I can receive a consultation on days when I am not experiencing breakouts. Rather than just removing existing ones, I would like to find a long-term management plan to prevent new breakouts from occurring.
