Does acne treatment work on the white sebum that appears on the cheeks?

I sometimes see small, white, granular bumps on the skin around my cheeks, so I am considering acne treatment.

It isn't significantly red or inflamed, but I can see small bumps on the surface of my skin, and it feels rough to the touch. It feels like it might come out if I squeeze it, but I'm trying my best not to touch it because I'm afraid it might leave a red mark.

Can I expect acne treatment effects on sebum or whiteheads that look white like this?

I am curious whether all small comedones are extracted during acne treatment, or if areas that do not require extraction are managed differently depending on the skin condition. I would also like to know if there are ways to manage the condition to prevent clogged pores, rather than simply removing sebum unconditionally.

I feel like I need to continue home care to prevent sebum from accumulating again even after acne treatment. What would be the most suitable method? Since the cheeks dry out easily, harsh cleansing or frequent exfoliation is burdensome for me. I want to receive only the necessary care while minimizing skin irritation.
